Maybe I'm old fashioned. But with all of the hate that's been around concerning this film, I've dragged my feet in wanting to view it.

Well, I just finished it, and, you know, for a comic book film, this isn't bad. Not at all. Is it the best Marvel film? Is it the worst? Not even close.

It's shot well, the story is good, though there is a few loose ends at the end not wrapped up. But the story of the scientist cursed with this failed experiment, constantly trying to find peace and not to harm anyone, is very strong in this film.

The ending could be refined, but on the whole, don't believe the hate. It's a good installment in the Avengers set up. I do not wish for my review to sound biased or one-sided, but I still enjoy this film all these years later.

Hulk is intimidating, powerful, above all angry, and I still get chills hearing him speak for the first time from the shadows.

I would have preferred for Ed Norton to continue this role, but alas, Hollywood. The story for the film is not overly complex. It runs like a long episode of the old tv show.

Bruce is trying to stay away from the army, he slips up, and they go after him again. The movie is excellent by itself but definitely ties into the early days of the MCU.

If you have never seen this film, I highly recommend it! Lastly, love the steelbook comic book design. Check it out in the photos.

This is a pretty solid film from the MCU. I would put it above Iron man 2 and Thor the Dark World. If you are looking for a solid film with some good special effects that hold up today.

I did think Liv Tyler did a pretty good job as Betty, but it wasn't enough for me to watch this again. William Hurt definitely managed to make me totally despise him, so he was probably really good as Ross.

I mean the second he walked onto screen in Civil War I was seething with hatred. I'm sure they're keeping him around in case they ever want to do Red Hulk, but I was rooting for him to sink with the Raft.

There is just not enough here to make the movie good. Since I've seen all the other MCU movies a dozen or more times, and this one only twice it's on the bottom of my MCU movie list, and the only one to earn 2 stars.
